Arsenal Extends EPL Table Lead to Seven Points With 1-0 Win over Brighton

Awarenessinfo Media has gathered that Arsenal has taken a commanding seven-point lead at the top of the English Premier League (EPL) table following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Brighton at the AMEX Stadium on Wednesday night.

The win, combined with Manchester City's 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest, has given the Gunners valuable breathing space in the title race as the season enters its final stretch.

Bukayo Saka, in his 300th game for Arsenal, netted the only goal of the match in the ninth minute, with his deflected strike proving enough to secure the precious three points.

This victory marks Arsenal's third consecutive league win, and it has pushed their points tally to 67 from 30 matches, seven points clear of second-placed Manchester City, who have played a match less.

Manchester City, managed by Pep Guardiola, had taken a 2-0 lead at the Etihad Stadium through Antoine Semenyo and Rodri, but Nottingham Forest fought back with goals from Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson, who scored a stunning 25-yard strike to secure a point for the visitors.

In other EPL matches, Chelsea thrashed Aston Villa 4-1 at Villa Park, with Joao Pedro scoring a hat-trick and Cole Palmer also finding the net. This victory has propelled Chelsea to fifth position in the table, with a better goal difference than sixth-placed Liverpool.
