It has been gathered that the Students Union Government of the Federal Polytechnic Offa led by Comrade Adelowo Tofunmi Busayo who is reckoned with taking the welfarism of the students as his top priority has appreciated outstanding students of the institution with gifts and scholarship.
In what look like unbelievable, the Students Union Government of federal polytechnic offa Comrade Adelowo Tofunmi Busayo and his executive recorded another Landmark achievement yesterday as Sum of 100 thousands naira was given to A students during SUG Quiz competition tagged Education must be valued held at Aluta Ground mini Campus of the School.
The quiz competition was segmented into three stages which are: Departmental, Faculty and Grand finale. The ground finale took place at Mini campus yesterday with the presence of thousands of students. The winner of ND category: Miss Grace from Food technology department went home with scholarship while the winner of the HND category Jolayemi Emmanuel Aduragbemi from Accountancy Department won 100 thousands naira.
The SUG President While presenting the Scholarship and the Money to the winners, said, his government is fulfilling his promise to the fedpoffite, he further said, the era of not valuing Brilliant students is gone.
"We shall continue to appreciate our brilliant students, they are the good ambassadors of the institutions. This new initiate is fulfilling the promise we make to fedpoffite that education must be valued, we will keep working for the students that entrusted us and the Reformation movement of Nigeria" the President said.
He concluded by imploring the winners to keep working and studying hard that the greater reward is ahead of them. He equally advised all the students to also prepare very well and be serious with their academic because that is the reason they are in federal polytechnic offa.
The two in one party was made more exciting as the popular MC BAYSHEY also distributed gifts worth thousands to the talented students. Some of the gifts were, Gas cooker cylinder, Many Semovita ,more than 8 Airpods worth 50k each and others gifts.
The students were seen rejoicing and praising the Current SUG executives and pray to Almighty God to keep guiding, protecting and guarding them as they determined to dedicate their lives to serving humanity.
